Kylie Blake is the graduating class of 2022 from Morris County’s School of Technology Academy of the Performing Arts (APA) at Morris Knolls High School as a dance major. Additionally she has been attending New Jersey School of Ballet performing in multiple roles of Nutcracker for the last two years. Previously, she’s danced with New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble performing in their annual shows of Nutcracker and ¡Balli Di Primavera!
Kylie also shares a love of musical theatre playing the roles of Lady Beatrice, Ensemble, Dance Captain, and Assistant Choreographer in her high school’s production of Grease! in 2019, Once Upon a Mattress in 2020, and Godspell in 2021. In addition, she has performed with the Mayo Performing Arts Center playing the role of Ensemble in Grease! in 2019, and casted Dance Ensemble in Newsies! in 2020.
Notwithstanding, she also has a passion for giving back to the community through various roles such as dance teacher for younger children, student ambassador to welcome new students to APA, and Dance Captain/Assistant Choreographer assisting her high school yearly spring musical production.
Kylie is honored to have been awarded the 2021 NJ State’s Governor’s Award and National Honorable Mention for National Honors Society for Dance Arts Award where she is evaluated on a self choreographed solo and academic excellence. As a passionate, hard-working artist, Kylie is committed to furthering the importance of the arts in our daily lives, particularly in light of the current pandemic.
